The status can be requested anytime but starts at the beginning of a new calendar year.

Active membership

Perfect for individual practitioners starting out

Practicing members apply for registration through the BAF secretariat.
Recognition is granted by the Registration Council based on admission requirements set by the General Assembly.
Covers legal assistance and civil liability insurance as an acupuncturist.
Also covers legal assistance and liability for your prior medical, physiotherapy, or nursing degree.
