This entire meridian network is a source of life and dynamism. It’s not static, but rather constantly evolving.

Activity is greatest at the acupuncture points, where we have the greatest influence on the entire system. The meridian network can be compared to small rivers and streams. Water flows, but not uniformly everywhere: in a river, there are rapids, waterfalls, eddies, widenings… The same applies to the meridians; the flow is not uniform everywhere, and in those special places, the acupuncture points are located, where we have a powerful place to influence the whole system.
