What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a complementary medical technique, historically rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, whose aim is to obtain a therapeutic effect by stimulating certain specific points on the human body using sterile needles.

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese treatment method, but still up to date to relieve people of their pain, cure diseases and make them healthier. The acupuncturist uses fine thin needles that are inserted into the body in the acupuncture points. These are special places on the body, which lie on the meridians. Pain is always located in one or more meridians. By puncturing the acupuncture points, the energy flow in the meridians is restored and the pain disappears. In addition, the meridians are connected to the organs, giving the acupuncturist the opportunity to make the organs healthier, to increase immunity, and to harmonize mind and body.
